WCS at the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games

From 7 to 21 November 2025, the city of Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) will host the 6th edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games (ISG), a multi-sport event bringing together athletes from 57 member countries of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA).
Organized every four years, the Games promote unity and excellence through sport across Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, and South America.
For the first time in history, camel racing will be part of the official ISG programme, marking a major milestone for the sport and for World Camelids Sport (WCS).
The camel racing competition will feature 4 medal events: 500m and 1200m races for both men and women.
Eligibility:
- Riders aged 18 and above, meeting specific eligibility criteria
- Only federations whose National Olympic Committee (NOC) is a member of ISSA may participate. All athlete entries must be submitted via the respective NOC.
This inclusion on the ISG stage offers camelid athletes a unique opportunity to gain international recognition in a prestigious multi-sport context.
